Product Family Answers Offline, Email Management, and Custom Requirements for Companies Deploying SharePoint Products and Technologies

With Contributor 3.0, customers can now choose a product tailored to their specific requirements: Colligo Contributor 3.0 Client is a rich desktop application that provides offline access; Colligo Contributor 3.0 Add-In for Microsoft Office Outlook provides email and content management capabilities within the Outlook interface; and Colligo Contributor Software Development Kit (SDK) enables developers to create custom desktop applications for SharePoint Products and Technologies.

Colligo Contributor Client – The Contributor Client enhances SharePoint user productivity by providing a rich interface to a local data store, in contrast to the traditional browser interface that can only be used online. It enables users to instantly and securely access, modify, and create documents, forms, list items, and metadata for SharePoint – when and where they need to. Changes are cached when offline and automatically synchronized when online. The Contributor Client can benefit any user of SharePoint Products and Technologies, but is targeted primarily at mobile professionals who need a consistent SharePoint interface, online and offline. Remote workers experiencing latency issues can also leverage the caching capabilities of Contributor Client for instant access to their business information.
Colligo Contributor Add-In for Outlook – The Contributor Add-In provides a more effective way to manage emails, documents, and lists in SharePoint by enabling users to access them from within the Microsoft Outlook interface. They are able to move or copy emails and attachments to document libraries with a simple drag-and-drop, while automatically capturing message fields (like To, From, Subject, and Date). Version 3.0 provides access to SharePoint document libraries, folders, and lists through the folder tree in the left navigation pane of Microsoft Office Outlook. The Add-In can be used online or offline, and is primarily designed for corporations that need a desktop user interface for enterprise content management applications of SharePoint Products and Technologies.
Colligo Contributor SDK – The Contributor SDK contains a .NET API plus relevant technical information and specifications that enable developers to build custom applications and tools that programmatically access the Contributor Application Run-Time engine. The SDK currently makes a number of operations available: such as, creating new list items and documents; importing existing documents in to the Contributor store; getting collections of sites, lists, list items, and documents from the store; putting metadata of list items and documents in the store; updating the metadata of list items and documents; removing list items and documents from the store; and initiating synchronization of sites or individual lists. The SDK is targeted primarily at Colligo partners, such as systems integrators and VARs, with customers that require custom desktop implementations for SharePoint Products and Technologies.
Colligo Contributor Pro – Contributor Pro incorporates all of the features of the Client, Add-In, and SDK. It is targeted at power users and corporations that want to deploy a mix of features and interfaces to their users.
