Microsoft’s plan to host Azure in Canada opens new opportunities for deploying Colligo Engage App Platform
Vancouver, BC – June 8, 2015 – In the wake of Microsoft’s announcement of two new Canadian data centres to deliver Azure, Office 365 and Dynamics CRM Online, Colligo anticipates a surge in demand from Canadian organizations in the highly-regulated healthcare, legal services and government sectors.
Removing a vital barrier to these major sectors creates new opportunities for Colligo to better serve customers who want to take advantage of cloud technologies but have been reluctant due to data residency issues.
“We are excited about Microsoft’s commitment to Canadian customers and partners,” comments Barry Jinks, CEO of Colligo. “Once the data centres are up and running next year, Canadian partners, such as Colligo, will be able to deliver SaaS solutions to Canadian customers who need to comply with strict regulations to keep their data within Canada’s borders.”
A Seamless User Experience
The Colligo Engage app platform improves worker engagement and productivity with an organization’s SharePoint, Office 365 and OneDrive for Business systems through a family of applications that are built around everyday tools that employees already use, such as Outlook, Windows Explorer, Mac Finder, phones and tablets.
The platform can be managed by IT administrators through an Azure-based SaaS Console to configure app settings, monitor document management compliance and reduce risk.
The Microsoft announcement means that Canadian customers wishing to take advantage of the Colligo Engage Console will now be able to do so while keeping all of the collected app data within Canada. It also opens the door to the company’s future plans of delivering additional cloud-based services.
