Colligo Contributor Provides Users of New SharePoint Online Service with Offline Access to Content

Contributor Software Fully Supports Microsoft SharePoint Online & Exchange Online

Vancouver, BC, November 18, 2008 – Colligo Networks Inc., a leader in desktop collaboration solutions, today announced that its Colligo Contributor desktop software product line for Microsoft® Office SharePoint® fully supports the newly released Microsoft® Exchange® Online and Microsoft® SharePoint® Online services.

In a press release on Monday, November 17, 2008, Microsoft announced the release of its new online services at a launch event in San Francisco. Stephen Elop, President of the Microsoft Business Division at Microsoft was joined by customers and partners to announce the availability of Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft SharePoint Online for businesses of all sizes in the United States. These subscription services offer businesses a new way to purchase, deploy, and manage the industry-leading email and calendaring solution, and the industry-leading solution for portals and collaboration.

“We expect the launch of SharePoint Online to further fuel the growth of Microsoft’s fastest growing server product in history and this is great news for Colligo customers,” commented Barry Jinks, President & CEO of Colligo Networks. “Exchange Online is available to information workers when working offline, because Outlook provides caching capabilities. For SharePoint Online, our Colligo Contributor client software provides a rich offline experience for mobile and remote workers. And for organizations looking to integrate Exchange Online and SharePoint Online for email management, Colligo offers an Outlook Add-In that supports seamless email drag-and-drop to SharePoint, all from within the Outlook interface.”

Colligo Contributor Pro is client software that increases SharePoint user adoption by providing an intuitive user experience that better integrates SharePoint into the way users work on their desktops. It enables information workers to easily access, modify, and create SharePoint content through familiar desktop interfaces. Contributor Pro includes two user interface options: (1) the standalone Contributor Client provides instant SharePoint access, online and offline, for mobile and remote workers; and (2) the Contributor Add-In for Outlook provides 2-way access to SharePoint within Outlook, enabling users to easily drag-and-drop emails (including metadata and attachments) into document libraries.

“Colligo is dedicated to providing industry leading tools that extend the email management and offline functionalities of Microsoft’s SharePoint products whether they are on-premise or hosted,” said Dave Foster, Colligo VP of Product Development. “We focus on building products that bridge the gap between what can be purchased from Microsoft today and what customers need in a complete solution. Offline access is a major requirement for businesses with consultants, sales professionals, consultants, auditors, and field technicians who spend a significant portion of their time outside the office. Outlook integration is another common business requirement when using SharePoint for project, knowledge, document, or enterprise content management. With the release of SharePoint Online and Exchange Online, we expect more businesses to be looking to Colligo to meet these common business scenarios.”

Products in the Colligo Contributor product family can be purchased from the Colligo store at www.colligo.com/store. A free Colligo Reader (for individual users only) and a 30-day trial of Colligo Contributor Pro are available at www.colligo.com.
