The Computer Can’t Connect Back To The Local Area Network

If you are not able to connect back to your local area network, please verify that your network adapter (wireless and wired) is configured properly.

The Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) component in your network adapter may need to be set back to DHCP settings.

  1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.
  2. Right click on the wireless network connection, and then click Properties. The installed network components appear.
  3. Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and then click Properties.
  4. Click Obtain an IP address automatically.
  5. Click Obtain DNS server address automatically.
  6. Click Ok, and then click Close.
  7. Restart your computer.
