If you are not able to connect back to your local area network, please verify that your network adapter (wireless and wired) is configured properly.
The Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) component in your network adapter may need to be set back to DHCP settings.
- Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.
- Right click on the wireless network connection, and then click Properties. The installed network components appear.
- Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and then click Properties.
- Click Obtain an IP address automatically.
- Click Obtain DNS server address automatically.
- Click Ok, and then click Close.
- Restart your computer.
