Losing connection to 3G wireless network while running Colligo

Some customers have encountered an issue where their 3G wireless card (e.g. Sierra Wireless Aircard) loses its connection to the network some time (e.g. about 60 seconds) after Colligo starts up. This problem has been observed, for example, on the Verizon data network.

The issue can be caused by the 3G wireless connection being closed by the provider, due to unexpected packets being sent over the connection by Colligo. This problem can be resolved by making a change to the Colligo.INI file. The Colligo.INI file is found in the Colligo installation directory under Program Files. The change required is to add the following line in the [MDOX] section of the file:

BroadcastEnabled := 0

After this change is saved, the user should shutdown and restart Colligo, reestablish the connection to the 3G wireless network, and wait to see if the problem has been resolved.
