Colligo Networks Sales of Desktop Software
for
SharePoint More Than Doubles in Second Quarter
Company Reports 2008 Year-to-Date Revenues - Up 99 Percent
Year-Over-Year
Vancouver, BC, July 29, 2008 – Colligo Networks
Inc., a leader in desktop collaboration solutions, reported record revenues
for the second quarter in 2008, following record revenues in the first quarter.
Second quarter sales increased 89 percent over Q2 2007 and year-to-date revenues
increased 99 percent compared to the first half of 2007.
“We are seeing explosive growth in 2008. The Colligo for SharePoint product line
alone increased 117 percent year-over-year in the second quarter,” commented
Barry Jinks, President and CEO, Colligo Networks. “Highlights from this quarter
include the launch of Version 3.1 of Colligo Contributor and the
Best of Tech•Ed 2008 Award that recognized Colligo in the productivity and
collaboration category. Most noteworthy is the growth in the Colligo for
SharePoint Partner Program with the addition of 24 new partners in this quarter
alone.”
The Colligo for SharePoint Partner Program now boasts over 110 partners in key
global markets, including North America, Europe, and Asia. Select partners
include
Blue Rooster in the United States,
Mind Business in Germany, and
Unique World in Australia. The partner program is designed to contribute to
the success of organizations that offer Microsoft SharePoint solutions –
including SharePoint services hosting partners, system integrators, and
value-added resellers.
“Partner sales grew over 300 percent from the first to the second quarter of
2008,” noted Ed Kaczor, Vice President of Sales, Colligo Networks. “By joining
the Colligo Partner Program, Microsoft Partners are able to increase their
SharePoint business. Colligo partners differentiate their SharePoint offering
with premier desktop software that solves three business challenges: (1)
anywhere productivity with offline access for mobile workforces, (2) browser
latency with local caching of SharePoint content for an instant user experience,
and (3) Outlook integration to support email drag-and-drop and better content
management.”
“Our partnership with Colligo was a strategic decision,” said Tim Wallis, CEO of
Content and Code Ltd. in the United Kingdom. “Colligo for SharePoint fits
well with our business model and allows our customers to meet key requirements,
including the capability of working offline and great drag-and-drop
functionality. Colligo for SharePoint allows our customers to expand on an
existing MOSS platform and opens opportunities to branch out within the
organizations.”
A recently published case study entitled “Education
Services Firm Drives Adoption of SharePoint for Email Management” highlights
one of Content and Code’s customer success stories. Geoff Carter, Head of ICT
Business, IT Services at
The Learning Trust comments: "Colligo Contributor Add-In is so simple to use
that it is driving adoption of SharePoint. It improves access by making
SharePoint libraries and lists available in an Outlook folder tree. More
importantly, users can easily drag-and-drop emails to document libraries,
improving centralization and management of content, while enhancing
collaboration across departments." The Learning Trust is a not-for-profit
company that runs all the education services for the London Borough of Hackney,
an area comprised of 220,000 people.
