Colligo's Peer-to-Peer Networking Software Proves Popular in Fourth Quarter

Gains 20 New Customers in the Last Quarter of 2004

Vancouver, BC, -- February 1, 2005 - Colligo Networks, the leading provider of 'instant networking' software, continues to prove its market leadership position among both small to medium and large accounting firms with the signing of a record 20 new customers in the last quarter of 2004. The addition of these customers demonstrates the strength of Colligo's software and increases Colligo's customer base to over 50,000 users. Among new customers were Grant Thornton Canada, Grant Thornton Australia and PricewaterhouseCoopers Australia.

"Our recent sales prove that Colligo Workgroup Edition is not only suitable to large audit firms, but to firms of all sizes," comments Mark Bergen, Director, Account Development, Colligo Networks. "Our customers tell us our software is easy to install, intuitive to use and vastly improves the efficiencies by which they share data among the audit teams. With the addition of these recent contracts, we now have a very strong base of audit customers worldwide."

Customers purchased in the fourth quarter from the US, Canada, Germany, Australia, the Netherlands and China, and included companies such as ING, Deutsche Bundesbank, The Mercadien Group, Armanino McKenna LLP and the Canadian military. Colligo Networks' software helps solve nomadic workgroup inefficiencies by enabling team members to connect Windows®-based laptops, tablet PCs and handheld devices via ad-hoc (server-free) peer-to-peer wired or wireless networks and then share data and communicate electronically. Accounting firms use Colligo Workgroup Edition to synchronize data efficiently and in a timely fashion between auditors that work at client sites. Prior to Colligo, auditors had to set up their own networking hardware in the field or copy and share the data using memory sticks or disks. With Colligo software, auditors can instantly share data over personal, secure, high-speed wireless networks created between their laptops, increasing productivity and reducing IT support costs.

"In the four months since installing Workgroup Edition on 600 auditors' laptops at Grant Thornton in Canada, we've seen a great improvement in collaboration among our audit teams in the field," says Don Thomson, National Director of Professional Standards, Grant Thornton LLP. "Our audit teams have found the technology exceptionally easy to install and intuitive to use. Compared to our previous methodology of setting up networking hardware at the client's office, Colligo is saving us and our clients both time and money."

Colligo continues to improve on its solution for the audit market, having recently added support for Caseware Working Papers. Colligo's upcoming version 4.0 software release will also contain new, improved support for Windows shared folders and Windows shared printers, as well as include IPSec security to complement the existing SLL data encryption.
