Colligo Asserts Industry Leadership Position
with Record Quarter
"Instant Networking" Software Company Gains 31 New Customers in the Third Quarter of 2005
Vancouver, BC -- October 18, 2005 - Colligo Networks, the leading provider of 'instant networking' software, continues to prove its market leadership position among small to medium as well as large accounting firms with the signing of a record 31 new customers in the third quarter of 2005. The addition of these customers demonstrates the strength of Colligo's software and increases Colligo's accounting customer base to over 70,000 users. Among the new customers are top 100 firms Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co., Vitale, Caturano & Co., and Blue & Co.
"Our recent sales prove that our award-winning Colligo Workgroup Edition 4.0, which supports all major engagement software, is gaining widespread traction in the accounting field," comments Barry Jinks, President and CEO, Colligo Networks. "Many of our customers have moved to a paperless audit system and face the challenge of how to network team members' computers. Colligo replaces the more arduous server-cable system, and swapping memory sticks and diskettes with a server-less wireless network - connecting WiFi-enabled laptops direct via the radio signal transmitted from the computers."
Colligo Workgroup Edition 4.0 now supports all major engagement software including Lotus Notes, CaseWare Working Papers, CSI Engagement CS and ProSystem fx Engagement. Colligo Networks' software helps solve nomadic workgroup inefficiencies by enabling team members to connect Windows®-based laptops, tablet PCs and handheld devices via ad-hoc (server-free) peer-to-peer wired or wireless networks and then share data and communicate electronically. Accounting firms use Colligo Workgroup Edition to synchronize data efficiently and in a timely fashion between auditors that work at client sites. With Colligo software, auditors can instantly share data over personal, secure, high-speed wireless networks created between their laptops, increasing productivity and reducing IT support costs.
"We've moved to a paperless process with ProSystem fx Engagement and it was essential that Colligo Workgroup Edition simply support our current software for us to even consider Colligo's solution," comments Sharon Ballard, IT Director, Clark, Schaeffer, Hackett, & Co. "Colligo's software has been well accepted by our auditors resulting in obvious productivity improvements and simplifying our field based networking."
