Top Ten Accounting Firm Selects Colligo's Productivity Software
for Company-Wide Deployment

Colligo's software enables Crowe Chizek's auditors to replicate their Lotus Notes databases peer-to-peer while working offsite.

VANCOUVER , BC , Canada - January 19, 2004 - Looking for a solution that allows its auditors to efficiently replicate Lotus Notes databases in disconnected locations, Crowe Chizek and Company LLC, one of the top ten public accounting firms in the US , has licensed ColligoT Workgroup Edition with Lotus Notes Plug-in for deployment by its auditors throughout the U.S. Colligo Networks' software helps solve nomadic workgroup inefficiencies by allowing team members to connect any Windows-based laptops, Tablet PCs and handheld devices via ad-hoc (server-free) peer-to-peer wired or wireless network to share data and communicate electronically.

While working offsite, Crowe Chizek auditors can replicate their Lotus Notes databases in the field without requiring Domino server access. Previously, Lotus Notes databases were replicated through a portable Domino server that auditors would transport to each audit site. By enabling the instant peer-to-peer replication of these Notes databases, the Colligo solution allows the audit team to complete their assignments more efficiently than in the past, with reduced IT costs and support headaches.

Through a process of "Discover, Connect and Interact", Colligo Workgroup Edition uses patent-pending techniques to allow users to create instant networks without the need for a server. The software automatically discovers other Colligo users on the local network (wired or wireless) and exchanges presence and awareness information with them. The Workgroup Edition Lotus Notes Plug-In allows for the serverless replication of Lotus Notes databases. This capability is particularly well suited for situations where obtaining a connection to a central server is difficult -- situations regularly encountered by audit teams. To ensure confidentiality, the information exchange is encrypted using 168 bit SSL security.
