Colligo Provides Instant Network Solution for New NEC Versa LitePad Tablet PCs Right out of the Box

Colligo’s “instant network” software to provide NEC Versa LitePad customers with immediate, device-to-device messaging and file sharing over embedded WLAN technology

Demonstrated on stage in November 2002 by Microsoft at their exclusive Tablet PC launch event in New York, Colligo Personal Edition provides instant file exchange and private messaging directly between mobile professionals using the WLAN-enabled NEC Versa LitePad without the need for central access points, servers, or Internet connections. Versa LitePad users gain productivity and convenience as soon as they power on their device while reducing the frustration often associated with alternative communication methods such as finding an Internet connection or network drop, disk swapping, one-to-one infrared beaming, or waiting to send email upon returning to the office.

Continuing with its successful mobile device manufacturer partnering, Colligo’s innovative “instant network” solutions are offering Versa LitePad customers out-of-the-box value with instant use for the Tablet PC’s embedded WLAN technology.
