Colligo and ViewSonic to Improve Mobile Workgroup Efficiencies

Colligo™ Personal Edition bundled with ViewSonic Tablet PC V1250

Walnut, CA, November 17, 2003 – As workers are under increasing pressures to be as productive and responsive out of the office as they are in the office, Colligo Networks announced today that ViewSonic® Corp., a worldwide visual display products leader, is bundling Colligo’s Personal Edition on its new convertible Tablet PC, the V1250. Colligo's easy-to-use software solves "on the go" productivity inefficiencies by allowing team members to create an instant network wherever they need to share data and communicate electronically, be it in a server-free or a wireless environment.

With Colligo's instant networking solution and the portable Tablet PC V1250 from ViewSonic, customers can seamlessly connect with other individuals' wireless devices in client’s offices, at tradeshows, in hotels or any other environment outside the office.

Colligo™ Personal Edition is a special OEM version that allows the user to carry out the following:

Instant Connectivity – automatically discover and see the status of other nearby Personal Edition users (up to 10 users).
Create Groups – create custom groups just as you would for your Outlook® Address Book.
Create Networks – users can narrow their view to only display specific users.
Interact -- Send sticky note messages to each other’s screens, chat in real time and transfer files
Status Setting – set your current working status to indicate to other users whether you are available or not (“do not disturb”, “available” and “away”).

The agreement between ViewSonic and Colligo allows V1250 Tablet PC owners to purchase Colligo™ Workgroup Edition for $59.99, a $10 discount from its retail value. It includes the rights to install the software on a computer (PC, laptop or Tablet PC) as well as a paired Pocket PC per license. Additional licenses may be required for other devices.
