Colligo Networks is the leading provider of email and document management solutions for Microsoft SharePoint. Based in beautiful downtown Vancouver, we are seeking a full-time Junior Developer/Support Engineer to join our successful and growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or junior support specialist to broaden their coding and customer relationship skills in a fast-paced environment with lots of room to advance.
What You’ll Do
As our Junior Developer/Support Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Tier 2/3 technical support, including confirming, resolving or escalating technical issues resulting from customer support requests on the implementation and use of Colligo solutions
- First point of escalation from Tier 1 Engineers on technically complex issues
- Ensuring that code fixes are tested and issues resolved to the customers’ satisfaction
- Proactively creating FAQs, knowledgebase articles, and other online support tools
- Using ticketing software and Microsoft CRM to capture customer interactions
- Delivering development and support quality consistent with industry best practices, established technology standards, and emerging trends
- Being a passionate advocate for product quality and customer experience
Who You Are
- 1-3 years of software development/technical support experience or education
- Technical knowledge of one of more of the following skills :.NET, C#, Windows Forms, WPF, XML, SharePoint, VSTO
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications, networking databases, web servers, security etc. and products that combine these into practical solutions
- Working knowledge of security technologies (antivirus, firewalls, antispyware, etc.), client-server applications, and Lotus Notes
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, TCP/IP, group policy and system imaging technologies
- College or technical diploma in Computer Engineering or related programs
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and enthusiasm for mastering new technologies
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
