  1. Our company uses Sharepoint extensively. We do not find it easy to access or find many of the benefits over simple file and store and traditional way. Only benefits are searching is easier if filed properly, and you can check docs in and out when multiple resources are updating the document. I can not answer some of the more technical aspects, but i will forward on to some of our more technical staff.

  2. Sharepoint is used across our organization of 3,000 employees by business group and geogrpahicly. There are struggles to use it as to search for documents isnt too much better than the old file storage. Like anything, more frequent use and common filing terms would help. I cant answer the technical questions pertaining to our organization. I’ll send to a couple folks in IT and see if they’ll answer for our Canadian division which is about 300 employees
