The Colligo team has returned from an incredibly successful Microsoft Tech·Ed 2011 conference in Atlanta. The conference provided an excellent opportunity for us to talk to a lot of our customers and to also touch base with many of our partners in the SharePoint eco-system. This year, we heard a lot of interesting talk on both “cloud strategies” and how to support the increasingly large number of new devices that are finding their way into organizations. These are two topics that I’m sure will dominate the discussion in many IT departments in the months to come.

Colligo Contributor Pro was featured today in a KM World article written by Judith Lamont titled: “RM – the Changing Role of Technology.” In the article, Judith points out the many pain points of records management including the volume and diversity of information, complex regulations, and concerns about risk. However, she identifies that it’s the management of email where all those pain points converge into a particularly challenging scenario.

Colligo’s on a roll! Last week, I was happy to announce that Colligo Contributor Pro won the Andy Dale SharePoint Award for Best SharePoint Mobile or Offline Solution. This week, I’m delighted to announce that Colligo Contributor Pro has been named a Finalist in the Best of Tech·Ed 2011 Awards, in the SharePoint category. So congratulations again to entire Colligo team for building great products that our customers love to use.

I’m really pleased to announce that Colligo Contributor Pro has won the Andy Dale SharePoint Award 2011 for the Best SharePoint Mobile or Offline Solution. This is the third straight year that Colligo Contributor has won the award and I’d like to say thank you to everyone that voted for us! However, the Andy Dale SharePoint Award isn’t just a popularity contest as the winners are chosen based on both the number of votes garnered along with the points given to each product from a panel of SharePoint experts. So a big congratulations to the Colligo development team for building such a great product!
