Colligo software has the following features to support audit teams:

Secure Network Formation - Colligo instantly enables teams to set up a private network in the field, either using a wired Ethernet hub, or directly between laptops enabled with wireless LAN (802.11 a, b or g).  This eliminates the need to obtain network access from the client and ensures that all data is handled independently.  The Colligo presence pane ensures field personnel see who is online with them at all times.

File Transfer - Colligo enables the transfer of large files directly at very high speed, either one-to-one or broadcast to the whole team, ensuring that all team members have the latest data.

Messaging - Chat, instant messaging and whiteboarding tools support real time collaboration at the client site.

File and Folder Sharing - Colligo supports secure folder sharing to remotely open files and run applications peer-to-peer, just as if they were on the corporate network.  This feature allows many standard audit software packages to work "out of the box", eliminating the need to bring servers into the field.

Database Synchronization- Colligo facilitates frequent synchronization of data from many standard Windows ^®-based applications.  For Lotus^® Notes^® users, a special plug-in is available that enables replication of Notes databases directly, eliminating the need to take Domino ^® servers to the client site.  Data synchronized between team members can be replicated to the corporate servers later with confidence that all data integrity and access control privileges are maintained.

Enhanced Security - In addition to 168-bit SSL encryption, shared data is IPSec encrypted. Through the use of an access control list,  shared files are only accessible to authenticated users while Colligo is running, closing a recognized security exposure with Windows^® sharing.

Printer Sharing - Enhanced printer sharing allows users to share their printer with all team members, reducing hardware requirements in the field.  Documents can be conveniently printed directly from within the application (e.g. MS Word, Excel), just like on the office network.

Internet Connection Sharing - Internet connections can be shared out to other members of the peer-to-peer network.  This is particularly useful when one member of the team has an Ethernet connection and wants to easily share that out to the whole team using the wireless LAN capabilities built into the laptops.

Optional Transaction Logging - Colligo's new transaction logging feature allows messages, chat transcripts, and file transfers to be captured in XML formatted files on the local disk. These files can then be collected and archived on a central server if required to ensure compliance with SEC regulations.
